Daring To Live

From a Mother’s Tragic Loss to Discovering Inner Peace and Joy

About The Book

In this short read, is a tribute to the author’s 13-month-old child, whose destiny led her to become the woman she is today. Armelle would not have gone on the journey she did had she not lived through his very sudden death. Her testimony demonstrates how an experience as dramatic as that of losing a child can lead to an even greater love.
Not only did she survive her son’s death when she thought she couldn’t, she was also led to the realization of her True Nature. She now lives a life of peace, joy and happiness that she didn’t know was possible, and she wants you to know that you can experience this, too. Armelle generously shares her own story and offers a new perspective on death, and on life. She also provides tips on how to learn to listen to the wisdom that you have inside. You can use this book to meet yourself!
The author does a wonderful job of sharing anecdotes from her life about heartfelt struggles she went through. She offers wonderful solutions and advice from her life as well as from numerous experts she has learned from. I highly recommend this book!

Introduction

In 2001, my son, Gauthier, suddenly died. It was the most painful experience of my life. I wasn’t sure I would be able to face it, but as I struggled with this new reality, I stumbled upon a completely different way of living. I discovered a voice within that I hadn’t known before. I also learnt that even when the body is gone, communication is not broken. The amazing journey that began after his passing led me to a peace and happiness that I had never known was possible. I started to live a life of inspiration and joy. I discovered that the eternal part in each of us can never die and began to wake up to my True Nature. This allowed me to see things from a different perspective. Even in the light of facing the biggest loss a mother can imagine, I was able to connect with a deeper truth and meet myself in a whole way. Remarkably, it was my deceased son Gauthier who taught me these lessons. This is a mother’s story of triumph over tears, ecstasy over agony, and spirited joy over despair. It is also the story of the enlightened son who continued to redefine life through his death. Death is not what it seems. Though a person’s physical body may not be with us anymore, their spirit—the One we all are, our Essence—lives on and always remains. The pain that we feel inside, which is so real and overwhelming, has within it so much more. The life of the person whose physical body we have lost has more to teach us. After Gauthier’s death, I was offered a gift that can empower us all to experience greater possibilities than I ever imagined. We are more than our bodies. We are Life itself! The journey of life is to remember Who We really Are, and from there to live in peace—creating harmony around us, respecting all living things, and enjoying every moment.

This book has been such a beautiful unfolding and a profound process as I started to write it for the first time 17 years ago. It went. Through so many changes and also deletes and fresh starts. Finally, it’s being published is in English, which is not my first language and maybe there’s a reason for that. But whatever that is, I am so grateful that it’s out and will be shared with the whole world. I am grateful to what I lived and how it changed me and my life and that it can also serve for you too today.

I didn't lose a child but I went through a divorce which sent me into depression, hopelessness and despair but then I found my purpose and freedom to LIVE. Thanks Arnelle for sharing. I felt your pain but I also felt and rejoiced with your healing and freedom to LIVE after experiencing such a tragic loss.

About the author.

Spiritual teacher and coach since 2010, Armelle sees her life turning upside down in 2001, when her only 14 month-old son died abruptly. The intensity of the pain opened her up to see and live life with new eyes and opened her up to hear her inner voice loud and clear. By following it, it led her on a deep spiritual path, retreating from the world and meditating for 5 years to wake up to her true nature. From that time also came a somatic energy movement/dance that she named “Movement of Life” : a deep practice of inner transformation and reconnection with Self.
She is also a visionary and is convinced that now is the time to all come together and change the world by changing us! Meeting her is opening a door towards a new self and the new possibilities for your life and this world.
